The TRUTH about SIZING!, March 22, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fossil Women's CE1004 White Ceramic and Gold Bracelet White Analog Dial Multifunction Watch (Watch) OK, I wanted this watch, but was a bit reluctant because of the one review stating it's only for a 7 inch wrist. The truth? I saw on a different website stating the 7 inch band; other websites said this watch fits a 7.5 to 8.5 inch wrist best. If I buy a 7 inch bracelet, it is tight and uncomfortable... I prefer 7.5 inches. As for this watch? It is a PERFECT 7.5 inches. If you wear 7 inch bracelets and like a looser watch, this is it. If you are a 7.5, then this fits VERY comfortable. If you are an 8 inch wrist, it'll fit snug but comfy. That's about it. 8.5 inches is really pushing it. So 7 to 8 inches and the best is 7.5 in my view. The white has a pearl like quality to it. The date can be set the usual way, however, you must wind backwards for the correct DAY after you set the date then adjust the am/pm time correctly. The instructions say the crown has at least 2 different positions, it does not. Out and in, that's it. So I experimented for 5 minutes and tadahh!

It's just the right size, it looks great, I get compliments all the time. However, one of the screws came out of the band within the first month.(The "pins" in the band are actually screws.) Turns out, watchmakers don't carry screws for ceramic watches and you can't order them online. So, I returned the watch through Amazon and got a replacement. When it arrived I checked the screws and most of them required tightening. So enjoy the watch - but be careful with your screws!

It looks even better in person than in the pictures and feels elegant. I was debating between this and a Michael Kors watch but was very glad that I went with this one. The ceramic is very nice and the face is the perfect size, large but so large that you feel awkward. You will not be disappointed with this buy!
